Funeral Arrangements
Funeral arrangements will follow:
Visitation
Visitation will be from 1600 to 2000 on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at DC Everest Senior High School, 6500 Alderson St, in Schofield, WI.
Visitation will continue at DC Everest Senior High School, from 1000 to 1200, on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. The funeral service will occur at 1200, with "burial rites" to be conducted afterward out in the parking lot of DC Everest High School.
Note a change in plans: the family would like a large LEO procession from DC Everest school to the Brainard Funeral Home in Wausau, so all are invited to take part. Only family and Everest Metro Police Department vehicles will stop at the Brainard funeral home at 522 Adams St., in Wausau, and others will be encouraged to continue on. (Directions will be handed out, upon arrival, for later return to Mt Olive Church or to get back to major roads to leave the area.)
Please arrive for Wednesday's event from the south, and to be parked in designated areas. 6200 Alderson Street will be blocked off to be used for parking; please follow directions of parking attendants dressed in brightly-colored vests upon arrival. Let them know if you are part of Color Guards, participating in the procession or not, or other LE function.
If arriving via STH 29, go south on Hwy X (aka Camp Phillips Rd.) to Weston Avenue. Go west on Weston Ave., to Alderson St., and then north on Alderson St to arrive in the 6200 block.
A luncheon will follow after the service and procession (across the street from DC Everest School) at Mt Olive Lutheran Church at 6205 Alderson St, Weston, WI.
