Funeral Arrangements
Visitation and Service
All law enforcement and 1st Responders statewide are invited to pay respects during private visitation on Wednesday, September 25th, from 5p-7pm, at Heritage Funeral Home (4800 S. 84th Street, Greenfield) Funeral Home.
Officer Lentz’s Funeral is set for Thursday, Sept. 26 at Elmbrook Church (777 S. Barker Road, Brookfield). The public visitation is set for 11 a.m. through 2 p.m. — with the service to follow. Police honors will be afforded outside on the parking lot after.
There will be a squad procession back to the Funeral home, and outside agency squads will be expected to continue on, with MPD turning in, only.
Honor Guard Information
Help will be needed for color teams, casket watch, door guards, and a cordon of honor after the service.
Color Teams
We would like to have 2-3 Color Teams meet the procession of Officer Lentz from the Funeral Home to the church. If your Color Team can be at the church by 9:15am to take part in this, please contact:
Other Color Teams who can be there for after the service, please respond to the church by 1pm for organization and practice. Sgt Bryan Wrycha will coordinate this also.
Additional help would be appreciated with Casket Watch and Door Guard; please respond to the church by 10am for practice and organization.
Obituary Information Chief Alonzo Morales is saddened to announce the tragic loss of Milwaukee PD Officer Mark Lentz, who died on Wednesday, 9/18/19, due to health related issues. Officer Lentz was a current member of Milwaukee Police Department, and proudly served the citizens of Milwaukee for 18 years.
