The Wisconsin Honor Guard Association regrets to announce the passing of Officer Emily Breidenbach of the Chetek Police Department and Officer Hunter Scheel of the Cameron Police Department
Funeral Arrangements
Visitation and Service
Visitation will be held from 9:00AM-1:00PM
Cameron High School 750 South 1st Street Cameron, WI 54822
Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM with police honors to be conducted following the ceremony outside of the school
Procession
The procession will commence after police honors from the Cameron High School to Hwy 53 south of Chetek, WI, approximately 10 miles.
All law enforcement units that wish to participate in the procession should proceed to the Mosiac Technologies, directly across from the high school at 401 South First Street, you will be given further instruction at that location.
All Law Enforcement is invited for a fellowship dinner gathering immediately following the procession at Marantha Church, 3340 South Main Street, Rice Lake, WI 54868.

Upon arrival you will be directed to the proper lot for parking. If you are participating in Honor Guard related duties please notify the parking lot attendants.
Obituary Information Police Chiefs Ron Ambrozaitis of the Chetek Police Department and Adam Steffen of the Cameron Police Department is saddened to announce the on duty death of Police Officers Emily Breidenbach Hunter Scheel. Officers Breidenbach and Scheel were killed in the afternoon hours of Saturday April 8th 2023 while involved in a traffic stop. Officers Breidenbach and Scheel were shot during the stop and succumbed to their injuries. Officer Breidenbach was a 5 year veteran of the Chetek Police Department and Officer Scheel was an officer for approximately 1 year.
